This follows the true story of the Washington Post during 1971 when the Pentagon Papers are released. Excellent for teaching about the Freedom of the Press, the government cover-up of Vietnam that spanned 4 presidencies, as well as pushing the boundaries of women in the business world.
Includes 47 questions, plus 4 post-movie discussion questions that can either be used in conversation, or to have the students write a final analysis on the film.
An answer key is included, but for some questions where it is more opinion based, use your own judgement.
If using for 8th grade, feel free to use my Free Video Release form to send home to parents! Most parents are fine with the PG-13 rating, but since 8th grade is that border between 13 and 14 years old, it is always better to ask. It contains a synopsis of the film, as well as the official MPAA rating. Check it out here: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/FREE-Video-Release-Form-3842251
