Product Description
This product uses actual advertisement campaigns to introduce any story or text that focuses on the power of fear. (I have used it for a drama study on The Twilight Zone teleplay, "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street" but it works with any story involving fear, mob mentality, etc.).

The activity consists of six advertisements (one sample, and five for student use) and ten short response questions. These are excellent for facilitating class discussion and are all aligned to the Common Core Learning Standards, particularly Anchor Strand 6; Determining an author's purpose.

Included in this product is a two-page activity worksheet and six, high-quality PDF slides - one for each advertisement.
