This activity is designed to review the major advisors and offices that assist the President in the federal bureaucracy. It provides a list of various situations that the President may face, from terrorist threats to budget problems, and students must correctly identify which individual or agency/department would advise the President or handle the situation. The answers will include members of the EOP, the Executive Departments, and Agencies. This is a great review activity after students have studied the bureaucracy and can also act as an informal assessment to see how well they grasp the responsibilities of various members of the bureaucracy.
