This is a PowerPoint Price is Right game for the classroom!
* 8 Contestant's Row games
* 8 prize games (Easy as 1 2 3, Half Off, Check Out, Any Number, Clock Game, Now or Then, More or Less, and Bonkers)
* 2 Showcases
* A script for an announcer! This also has the prices and answers to games written on it.
Directions for each game appear in the Notes section of the slides.
This is mostly just for fun, but IS academic because it requires mental math, reasoning, estimation, and just money savviness in general.
You can edit it to make it appeal to the interests of your class, or with items you think they would likely know the prices of.
I allowed all students to play during contestant's row and they just guessed the price on whiteboards. Depending on the next game, I would then take between 2-8 (if there are that many) of the closest guesses without going over to the next prize game. This is all done on whiteboards. You could choose to do teams too. Depending on your class, you can play it however you want.
