Product Description
Get ready for the CCSS cross-media expectations with an an art-analysis activity and presentation that challanges students to relate theme across multiple representations. Students will use Rockwell's "The Problem We All Live With" to observe, identify, analyze, compare & contrast, and evaluate the representation of themes of racial tension and change. This activity was originally designed for use with McBride's "The Color of Water" and Ellison's "Invisible Man," but the language has been changed in the document so that you can apply it to your own curriculum's intersection with America's Civil Rights struggle. **Student handout and Teacher Guide with answer key are included. Designed to pair with "Visual Analysis Crash-Course Presentation" which is available for free from my store.
