Students love to take in information kinetically. This activity consists of 3 "stations" with text and a picture, centered around the reign of King David of Israel.
The stations are hung in different areas of the room, and students must visit each one in groups of 3-5 for 4-6 minute intervals and answer questions at each one. Afterward, teachers can review the material with students, and the answer sheets then become an excellent study guide for an assessment.
For larger classes, split the class into two sets of groups, and double the stations on 2 separate sides of the room. Smaller groups are better. More than 4 in a group creates time issues because not all students can read the text at once.
