The Revealers, by Doug Whilhelm, tells the story of three friends—Catalina, Elliot, and Russell--who are the victims of bullying at their middle school, and how they use technology and the need to “tell one’s story,” as an unusual, but effective, way to reveal the intimidation that is occurring, but never addressed. In this novel, the three friends call upon their own inner courage, the scientific method, and support from understanding adults to stand up to the cruelty they experience on a near-daily basis, thus positively impacting the lives of other students by their actions. This novel makes an excellent companion reading for Bystander. It can also be read independently.
