Paul Revere was a patriot in the American Revolution. He is most famous for his ride and warning to the colonists that the British were coming. He didn't yell "the British are coming!" as many stories say. He was trying to be quiet so he wouldn't get caught.
As your students learn about this patriot and his fight for freedom they gain factual information while learning to read for information and using research skills.
