Students will create a project based on the concept of a road not taken, in which they predict two future path. Students can be given the option to create a personal project or write a project based on a fictional character (the narrator of the poem). Students will create a project in one of several formats using images, and short descriptions to explain the points of the journey (events in the future). A thoughtful conclusion will summarize the project. Rubric and planning document included. Fun culminating project.
One option is to give students the choice of fact or fiction. Other students would do best taking time considering their paths, including students at a point of transition, such as graduating seniors or those considering post-secondary choices.
