Description

This "ready to teach" 11 page pdf file can be used as handouts or projected onto a screen. You will use the poem "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost for reading comprehension and response, vocabulary, spelling, parts of speech, figurative language, and poetry performance. Using a poem of the week to teach various skills each day helps to build comprehension, fluency, and explicitly teach conventions of the English language. It's a simple way to introduce a lot of material in a short time frame.
