This is an approach that rewards students for excelling in academic performance and, at the same time, are on their best behaviors. It provides students with Priwards (privileges and rewards) in a unique way to improve their performance and their behavior. The main objective of the approach is to increase the time that students spend at home studying. It believes that the decline over the years in the time students spend at home studying has been grossly ignored while the focus has been on eliminating "bad" teachers; hence the national emphasis on Teacher Evaluation. The approach (which in now in its 8th year) believes that there will be a significant shift in the positive direction for education if programs were to be initiated to increase the time students spend at home studying for the tests.
