Interactive books are my new favorite thing! I love them because they are durable (laminated), neat (no loose pieces falling off the table) and great at giving busy little fingers something to do!
These 3 booklet companions are designed to be used with the children's story "The Runaway Bunny" by Margaret Wise.
Booklet 1: Cause & Effect (If/Then sentence frame). Students choose from 8 picture choices to show what Mommy Bunny will do for each of Baby Bunny's disguises.
Booklet 2: Comprehension: Students answer comprehension questions and check for understanding of story vocabulary using 2 picture choices (12 questions total).
Booklet 3: Concepts: Students choose which picture best describes where Baby Bunny is hiding (12 questions total). Concepts used are: In, next to, in between, in front of, behind, on top of, under, inside, far, near, right, left.
Each book can be used for students with a wide range of abilities--from minimally verbal (just choose the correct picture), single word level (label the correct picture) or at multiple word and sentence level (describe or create a sentence for each picture).
A 2-page homework sheet is also included to reinforce the lessons.
Please see preview to see each booklet in detail and pictures of what the finished products will look like.
As always, feedback is extremely helpful and greatly appreciated!
