This is a small group reader's theater is for four students. This is the Spanish version and is called El Pequeño Conejito Triste - un cuento de Pascua. It is for Easter. Our students had requested an Easter themed story. This is a simpler one and the moral of the story is about friendship. In the script, little Bunny is sad. He can’t seem to make friends but his mother has an idea. Little Bunny begins to make friends but has to worry if they will still be his friends when he isn’t giving them eggs./ Un Pequeño conejito está triste. Parece que no puede hacer amigos, entonces su madre tiene una idea. El Pequeño conejito comienza a hacer amigos, pero le preocupa que sus amigos lo seguirán siendo aun cuando ya no les de los huevos de colores.
We use reader's theaters to encourage our students to practice fluency. It is a fun way to do something that they need. As you know, Spanish must be READ and SPOKEN in order for students to be fluent in the language. Most of our scripts are in black and white so they photo copy easily. This one does have a colored border and a picture on the first page but the rest is black and white. The problem with many other reader's theaters is that students spend a lot of time waiting for their part. When you have a small group they get more practice in and less off task behaviors take place. Our names are Julio Lopez and Melanie Whitesides but our store name is LosDosMaestros and we hope that your students enjoy this script as much as ours did. If you would like other Easter stories look for them at our site.
If you would like them in English, look for them at wonbyone's store. Let us know how things go!
