This engaging webquest can be completed individually, with partners, or in groups. The purpose of this webquest is for students to learn about science that can explain Christmas phenomena. They will investigate how Santa fitting through small spaces can be explained by characteristics of a giant octopus, what is special about reindeer noses and bioluminescence, the history of Christmas lights, and more! Students will love studying science with Christmas as the topic.
This activity guides students through exploring information and videos about the science of Christmas. As a final task, students are presented with a picture and label the parts they have learned about.
