Have you ever wanted to make your own duck call? This hands-on activity will allow students to work through the scientific method as they create two different duck calls. Students will love the opportunity to BE SUPER LOUD in class. Students will work through each step of the Scientific Method as they participate in the experimental design. They will test their prototypes and make a conclusion about which make of duck call is the loudest.
Things to remember...this is great to explain experimental error. The force the student blows into one duck call needs to remain constant. Students will identify the variables and get practice following a procedure properly in order to be successful.
