Skills involved in the process of Science are profoundly important in the development of scientific thinking and inquiring. This Grade 4 through 7 resource is meant to help teachers explore the Scientific Method with their students.
In my Grade 5/6 class, I spend Six Weeks with various exciting experiments (numerous resources out there to find these for any grade level). During each week, we dive into one of the six parts of the Scientific Method. At the end of this study, the students are responsible for designing their own experiment. They will use these same worksheets in a booklet as their scaffolding. The worksheets will hence be familiar for those students who require routine tasks.
The bubble title letters are for my students who need to be kept busy but who finish tasks very quickly. While other students finish work, they may doodle in the letters.
These worksheets are extremely transferable and are to be used as a guide/tool in developing scientific process skills.
