Students dive deep into the Scientific Revolution with this research and writing assignment!
First, students will independently research ten notable scientists of the Scientific Revolution. After noting the major discovery of each scientist and recording the credible source, students will complete a writing assignment that ties the Scientific Revolution to their life today. Finally, an assessment is provided to test students' overall knowledge of each scientist and corresponding discovery. Additionally, a word search and answer keys are also included.

Scientific Revolution Research Template:
The student research guide lists ten scientists with space to record major discoveries. Space below each scientist is provided for students to record their sources. The research template is easy for students to follow and complete independently using the internet.

Scientific Revolution Writing Assignment:
After researching the major scientists and discoveries of the Scientific Revolution, students compose a paragraph explaining a discovery and the impact it has on their life today. A rubric is provided as a guide for paragraph expectations.
Scientific Revolution Discovery Assessment:
The assessment requires students to match each scientist with the corresponding discovery.
Scientific Revolution Word Search:
The ten major scientists from the research guide are included in the word search. Two word search puzzles fit on one page for less copying.
An answer key is provided for the research template, discovery assessment, and word search.
