Product Description
Irony is probably the most misunderstood literary device on the planet. People say, 'How ironic!' when things are funny and coincidental. This lesson first teaches the three types of irony using definitions, examples, and videos and then uses Thurber's story, "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty," as practice in identifying irony in a story.

*Note, many of the resources used in this lesson are also used in my 'Oh the irony' lesson and my irony bundle.
