Style is an elusive concept for students. This lesson introduces students to the elements that make up an author's style, gives them an opportunity to identify things they think are relevant, and apply their knowledge to Thurber's "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty."
After understanding style and evaluating the qualities of Thurber's style, students are asked to continue the story in his style, applying their knowledge in a creative way.
All resources are editable. Includes a presentation, skeletal notes, and filled in notes.
