This unit will be featured for free for a limited amount of time. It is my hope that you will see the benefit of these SLP-created literature units for both yourself and the students. I use these units as a way to teach and review targeted areas with a small group of students. If you like this style and type of unit, please check out the others that I have created this year. Titles include: Heckedy Peg, A Turkey for Thanksgiving, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Rainbabies, and A Wish to be a Christmas tree. The best part of all is that you don't need the book in order to use these units. They are available on YouTube with the illustrations shown.
The Seven Silly Eaters is a beautifully written and illustrated book by Mary An Hoberman and illustrated by Marla Frazee. I have put together this packet for SLP's , RtI teachers, and other educators to use as a tool to improve student knowledge for: comprehension, knowledge of synonyms, antonyms, homonyms, associations, rhyming, defining, past tense verbs, and illustrations.
This book can be purchased on Amazon in both paperback and hard cover form. Also, it may be viewed on YouTube. The URL is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3D8BwsfxVs.
