The Shelf Elf Companion Activity - Library Rules

The Shelf Elf Companion Activity is a great way to motivate your students to follow expectations in the library! Before this activity I suggest you read The Shelf Elf by Jackie Mims Hopkins to your students to review library procedures and book care. Next, your students will create their own “shelf elf” using the app ChatterPix. Each “shelf elf” will explain a specific library procedure. This product will help students plan what they want to say before recording their ChatterPix. There are two versions of the planning sheet to help meet the needs of all your students!
