The "Shirt Game" is an activity where students will compete with other "business groups" to create, manufacture, and sell shirts to the student population.
This application assignment reinforces the economic concepts of supply, demand, pricing, and competition. This also has cross-curricular appeal as students are creating an advertisement and a final report. This activity will take approximately 4 hours to complete, but this time will best be spread out over approximately a week and a half of class time.
Included is a power point for presenting this project to students and an excel spreadsheet with a rubric for grading students, an inventory list, a chart for calculating total profits and losses for the activity, and a sale sheet.
