Clarisse McClellan is one of the significant characters in Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451, yet she is gone in less than a third of the novel. This activity allows your students to analyze the symbolic representation of her character in the story by directing your students to analyze quotations of her physical description, as well as her dialogue. It also requires students to analyze her overall function and purpose in the novel.
Included in the product is a worksheet containing the questions for your students to analyze and a PowerPoint Presentation to review the answers with your students.
