Pg. 5 Roll and Spell – roll the dice to see what to use to write your spelling words – choices are crayon, pencil, colored pencil, marker, pen, or your choice – write each word three times
Pg. 6 Synonyms! – find all the synonyms and circle them with the matching crayon color

Pg. 8-12 My “ar” Words! - cut openings in the paint palette and insert the letter strips, move them up and down to form new words, copy pages A and B back to back to form a book, record your words in your “ar” book
Pg. 13-16 Commas! - copy side A and B back to back, glue the paint pots into the book, gluing only the sides and bottoms to form pockets, read the sentences on the paint brushes, decide if the commas were used correctly or incorrectly in the sentences and put them in the right pockets
