THE SIMPLES LOVE PRONOUNS is a set of language arts worksheets specifically designed for First Grade Core Standards, but could probably be used for other grades as well. The worksheets borrow scenarios from the picture book THE SIMPLES LOVE A PICNIC by J. C. Phillipps (a.k.a. me) published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, April 2014.
This package includes two different exercises. One sheet tells an abbreviated version of THE SIMPLES LOVE A PICNIC with words in rectangles. On the corresponding sheet, students will cut out pronouns and paste them in the proper rectangles so the sentences make sense. The other exercise has a word bank with four pronouns in it. Students must copy the given sentences, replacing the underlined word with the correct pronoun.
Each worksheet is presented in two forms: color and black and white. The files are all saved as pdf's and were created in 300 dpi, so they will look crisp when printed.
These worksheets are for you to use at school or in your home classroom. Because the characters in these worksheets are under copyright, please do not alter or redistribute these worksheets for other TPT products.
