Page 1 - The children will read and write each term.
Page 2 - By looking at the pictures the student will pick a term from the word box to describe the type of simple machines shown.
Page 3 - Match the simple machines with an example of how they are used.
Page 4 - Student will look around the school and do research of which simple machines are present.
Page 5 - The six simple machines definition match up. Student reads the definition and focuses on determining the correct term.
Page 6 - Identifying types of simple machines. Ex. What kind of simple machine does a scissor represent?
Page 7 - Six simple machine crossword puzzle. The student looks at each picture and fills in the puzzle.
Page 8 to 16 - The student creates his own simple machines flip book which contain pictures and definitions of each simple machines. They will cut and paste the pictures and definition in the correct page of their book. Each tab will help the student know more examples of each machine.
Page 17 and 18 - Flashcards that can be used to study at home or can be used as a cut and sort activity.
