PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

These cards were developed to use with social skills groups to determine feelings that develop during different scenarios. You can use them to identify emotions as they rise in degrees from calm to heightened alertness which relates to feelings such as anger or fear. They can also be used when talking about the size of a problem and the appropriate reaction. Students determine if a problem is at the lowest level which would be a glitch in our day or at the highest level such as a crisis. This also leads to talking about possible solutions.
I found my students had difficulty coming up with a variety of appropriate scenarios to go with the lesson so made these cards. Please visit my web site to see more information on social pragmatic groups https:// www.inspontaneousspeech.com
There are 26 cards with written scenarios. There are another four blank cards that students can use to make up their own. The scenarios are ones that are common to students. The cards are meant to be printed on card stock and cut apart to form cards 3 1/2 inches by 4 inches.
