Product Description
In this activity, students work in pairs or small groups to sort and match cards to form completed puzzle matches.
Each pair of points is matched with the slope between those two points.
Students must use the slope formula to calculate the slope between two points and find the match in the set of answers to form correct puzzles.
There are three levels included, which makes this activity easy to differentiate!

Beginner: Starting points are whole numbers and answers do not involve negative numbers. Subtraction only involves whole numbers (when starting with the second point and subtracting the first).

Intermediate: Starting points do not include more than one negative coordinate value. Some answers are negative. Subtraction does not include subtracting a negative number (when starting with the second point and subtracting the first).

Advanced: Starting points include more than one negative coordinate value. Some answers are negative. Subtraction includes subtracting a negative number (when starting with the second point and subtracting the first).

A recording sheet is also included for students to record their work and answers.
