This document includes "positive planning" forms for students that are designed to live at a "solution station" in the classroom/school, send-home forms that students discuss with a parent, a "solution station" sign, steps for implementation, and a description of our positive discipline guidelines.
I created the forms to go with the positive discipline system that our school uses. Our system is based on Discipline Without Stress, Punishments, or Rewards by Marvin Marshall and Positive Discipline in the Classroom by Jane Nelsen. We use an altered version of Marvin Marshall’s Raise Responsibility System to teach desired behaviors for school, but we have changed some of the terms he uses, as we did not relate to them (for example instead of behavior that demonstrates "anarchy" we use the term "anti-productive" behavior).
The solution station and the positive planning forms are used at our school to keep a record of student behavior, solutions, and progress.
