In this activity, students will research arguments for and against spanking young children as a form of discipline. Students will navigate the web to analyze one article in support of spanking, and one article against spanking. Students often are surprised to find that their opinion on spanking changes after completing this activity. Great resource for incorporating critical thinking and literacy into a Family Consumer Sciences classroom.
