This document is a trifold with close-reading questions from the first chapter of The Stories Julian Tells, "The Pudding like a Night on the Sea".
This 3rd grade chapter book addresses several common core standards.
Students will learn how to analyze a character's actions, motivations, contributions, and lessons learned.
This chapter will also teach point of view and discuss how characters change from the beginning of a story to the end.
With this book and trifold, students will read in so much more depth than ever before. Students will have to dig deep into the text to find the answers to these close-reading questions.
This trifold can be used for direct teaching and also as collaborative group work.
Please see the instructions on the cover page on how to print and copy your trifold.
