Easily adapted to any content area and grade level, task cards make for a welcome change from just completing a worksheet for skill practice. With this set of task cards students will identify the predicate complements (predicate nominatives and predicate adjectives) in sentences about the Biblical patriarch Joseph.
These 24 cards may be used in a literacy center or for a Scoot/Scatter/Scavenger Hunt activity, or even as part of an interactive notebook.
There are two sets of cards allowing for differentiation. One set requires students to simply identify the complement while the second set additionally asks them to distinguish whether the complement is a nominative or an adjective. A comprehensive answer key is included as well as QR Codes on the second set to allow for self-checking.
