This fifteen-page resource for teaching Betsy Byars' 1971 Newbery Medal Winner is a series of thinking and writing prompts based on the higher-level thinking skills of Bloom's Taxonomy.
These pages contain open-ended prompts for each chapter and for whole book study. A variety of difficulty levels accommodates the needs of individual students, including gifted.
This section also includes a graphic organizer for dynamic/static character analysis.
