This is a worksheet designed to be used when teaching superlative adjectives. On the first page, which can be transformed into a mini booklet, children will find simple and easy explanations about the usage and the structure of the superlative, as well as some useful notes. The second page is the same booklet, but with blanks to be completed by the children.
To make the booklet, first cut around the outside lines of the table, then fold in half shortwise. You'll have now 2x2 boxes on each side. Cut along the middle line, but only from the fold to the cross line. Next, unflod the paper and fold it again longwise, along the cut. Fold the two sides (along the lines) so that they meet in the middle. The cover page should face upwards. Now unfold again, hold both ends and push them towards each other until they meet in the middle. Finally fold the cover page over to make the mini book. It's that easy!
The worksheet continues with 15 exercises with different levels of complexity through which the children will reinforce their knowledge. You'll find exercises like:
2. Join the adjectives
3. Odd one out
5. Secret message
6. World's superlatives (2 exercises)
7. Add one more
8. Write the opposites
10. Word jigsaw
11. Multiple choice
12. Fill in
To complete the worksheet, there's a classroom survey to practise superlatives that can be used as a writing and speaking activity as well.
The worksheet also contains the answer key, which will make your job easier. ;)
