The Sword of Conquest is a powerful piece depicting the intensity of a medieval battle. This piece was written mainly for students in their first and second year of playing however older students would enjoy this piece as well. It features strident harmonies and a driving melody meant to excite your students and audiences alike. This piece is written in the key of Eb with most parts going no higher than concert C and all clarinet part stay below the break. There are also plenty of percussion parts to keep your students busy. This piece would work well as a concert opener or finale. I hope you and your students enjoy The Sword of Conquest.
