This activity pack (already included in our Letter of the Week packet for R) is for the timeless story, "The Tale of Peter Rabbit", includes three activities, each offered in either color or black and white.
1. Peter Rabbit's Meal: A cut and paste activity. Students can practice their hypotheses skills as they suggest the amount of vegetables that Peter Rabbit ate in Mr. MacGregor's garden and create a pictograph.
2. Simple Writing Sentence Activity: Related to the above activity, students will write a sentence (most of which is already written in dotted letters) but will add in the numbers of their pictograph.
3. Rabbit Craft: Students will cut out pieces from a craft sheet (can be printed in color OR printed and colored by kids) and create a bunny rabbit. Extra materials required for this craft include a toilet paper roll for each bunny, glue, scissors, and a cotton ball.
Excellent activity for a follow up to reading "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" or for your Springtime season unit.
