Product Description
The Tattle Battle was created in order to teach my students the pragmatic skill of deciding when it was necessary to inform me of a happening vs. handling it themselves with the Peace Education skills they were practicing, specifically the "I"-Message. The Tattle Battle (aka "Go Tell or Oh, Well") activity lets them practice deciding whether to "Go Tell" or say, "Oh well, I'd better give an I-Message." I've included my "I"-Message Rap to teach your students the parts of an I-message. The poster serves as a visual reminder of the 3 reasons to "go tell": stealing, ruining property, and getting hurt. These activities from Worksheet Shmirksheet foster the development of critical thinking skills, pragmatics, language development, and decision making skills.
