This sort includes the basic labels of plot, a plot line, and the key events in the spooky short story, The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe.
This activity lets you know if your students can apply the idea of plot to an actual story, which I have found is much more difficult for some of my readers than I expected. This is a quick and interactive way for students to demonstrate their understanding of a text and what parts of the story correspond to what parts of the plot line.
