This project has student's examine The Tempest through one of three critical lenses, which coincide with a major character. They provide observations through their critical lens and textual support of their observations. The second half of this project is to make a plan for staging The Tempest, while making their main character (the focus of their critical lens) seem like the main character in the play. Students will make a presentation and compete with 2 class members who represent the other two critical lenses. The competition aspect really helps this project to shine!
