This comprehensive activity guide asks students to respond to a series of open-ended questions while watching "The Terminal". There are three activity guides, one essay prompt/handout, and lesson plans to accompany.
The activity guides tells you when to stop the film to give students the opportunity to respond to the prompts. Some prompts can be answered before getting to the "stopping points", but I prefer to have students think about these questions for a little while before responding. This works well as a classroom activity, but can also be used for homework. Before doing this activity, students should know how to support a claim with evidence. They will be asked to make a claim and to support each claim with evidence. Some questions are to be answered in a complete sentence, while others are to be answered in paragraph format.
The file is a .docx file, so you can edit it to meet the specific needs of your students.
