The Three Little Pigs reading comprehension 3 Pack.
The first, stand-alone instalment of my reading comprehension series 'Twisted Fairy Tales': traditional stories, but not quite as we know them. These alternative versions to well known children's stories are a fun and humorous way of engaging children with reading comprehensions.
Here's a link to the rest of the series to date: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Apple-On-The-Desk/Category/Twisted-Fairy-Tales-Reading-Comprehensions-266857
Each of the three activities within this pack include a text, questions, suggested challenge activity, and easy to compare answer sheet.
This pack features:
Activity 1: a newspaper article which tells the story of The Three Little Pigs. This report tells the story as we've all learnt it, but it is it the truth?
Activity 2: a wanted poster, aimed at finding the Big Bad Wolf, but is he all bad?
Activity 3: the truth. This is the story from the wolf's point of view: did he really want to eat those three innocent, little pigs? He says not...
The pack involves no planning and is easy to print, making it ideal to use as an in-class activity worksheet, or to be given out as homework.
