This updated activity has stood the test of time and remains ever popular with my students.
Students read an excerpt from The Titanic, make predictions, participate in an experiment, and then construct a CER.
An optional graphic organizer is included to scaffold for student needs.
Once the activity has been completed, the CER could be completed in class or as homework. It also makes a wonderful CER assessment.
