PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is an activity for drawing conclusions and inferences using a fun folktale - The Tortoise and the Hare. The comprehension worksheet could be used with just about any version of The Tortoise and the Hare, but I used The Really Groovy Story of the Tortoise and the Hare for my inspiration. The two-sided page has students writing sentences to answer questions as well as a couple of multiple choice. Then students can compare two more animals to the tortoise and the hare and decide who they think might win a race.

Use this in a whole group or small group reading lesson.
