This unit is developed to support a single read aloud copy. There is zero prep needed (other than photocopying) and has 9 different activities to support the story.

The activity sheets that support this unit are perfect for students between Grade 2 and Grade 6.

This reading response unit is based on the touching story, The Train, written by Jodie Callaghan and illustrated by Georgia Lesley. The Train is a healing story that promotes conversations around the legacy of abuse Indigenous people experienced.
