Turning Points in American History
This series charts the history of the United States during the 19th and 20th centuries by focusing on the causes, events, and consequences of important events or movements in American and world history . All lessons are designed to take between one and two weeks depending on their length.
Part one of the series helps students to understand the reasons behind the outbreak of the Civil War as well as some of the consequences in the aftermath of that conflict. Lessons include:
