This interactive St. Patrick's Day story allows you to sing or read to your students. The tricky leprechaun has been up to his mischief playing tricks all around the house! The story allows for prediction of where the leprechaun will show up next as well as fun context to engage in expressive language skills. The book can become interactive by using Velcro or temporary bond adhesive glue to add the story prop on the page while you are matching pictures of the tricks played by the leprechaun. A black and white version of the story is included. Simply copy, staple top and bottom on the side and a single cut down the middle allows you to make 2 books at a time.
Additional learning ideas include:
*After you read the story, use the interactive pieces to sequence the steps in the story.
*Remove one of the steps in the sequence and play ‘what’s missing’.
*Print, cut and laminate vocabulary cards. Use to pre-teach/re-teach vocabulary.
