Product Description
This reader’s theater was written based on information from Nathaniel Philbrick’s book, Mayflower. The Mayflower inhabitants were a hard working group of people who through dedication, and innovation were able to survive in a place that one might think impossible. Even though it began as a quest for religious freedom, it soon became a quest for survival.

Everything the colonist had previously endured would be easy compared to the tumultuous boat ride, the agonizing winter and the precarious relationship with the Native Americans.
However, what we remember and celebrate each year as a simple dinner the colonist held with the Native Americans is not entirely true.

This is the true story of the Mayflower Colonists
