Product Description
One methodology in teaching ESL is the use of Total Physical Response (TPR), which teaches language by eliciting physical responses to verbal commands. "Simon Says" is a typical example of a TPR activity that can help children learn vocabulary relating to parts of the body. The Turkey Dance is adapted from the well-known "Chicken Dance", and the moves to the dance are part of the story. It's great fun for the kids as they learn some new language as they dance along to the song, which I play after the story. "The Turkey Dance" is not only for ESL students, though, and can be enjoyed by young children everywhere.
