This product has quite literally been YEARS in the making and I am SO excited to finally share this resource with you and your students!! ***Please note, as this is a new product, I have listed it at a lower price in hopes to get your honest feedback to work out some of the kinks before putting it at a more accurate pricing, so please! Take advantage and help me out with feedback!
If your students need extra practice with medial short vowels, whether to enhance their decoding skills or build confidence in their spelling, this packet is for you. One of my favorite resources created to date (and several years in the making) this resource is a quick, grab-able activity that can be used for independent work, a daily warm up or exit task or just extra practice.
This product contains;
- 99 Clip Cards. (99 color, 99 of the same cards in B&W). These were my favorite grab-able tasks. These can be used as a daily warm up or exit task, independent work or just extra practice. For more advanced students, use the numbered clip cards for practice spelling on the corresponding worksheet. Added bonus; my students enjoyed this activity and often requested it!
- 61 Unique Worksheets (122 total). This is where I may have gone overboard, but in special education, repetition and scaffolding is key, and this product is rich in both. I have two sets of worksheets; one set has a prompt at the top of each page listing what vowels are being practiced on that page. I have an identical worksheet without the prompt. I build from working on one vowel at a time, then two, then three and so on; worksheet breakdown is as follows;
o Single Vowel Worksheets (a, e, i, o, u) 9 questions per page, two unique worksheets for each vowel worked on. (10 worksheets with prompt at the top, 10 identical worksheets without prompt)
o Two Vowel Worksheets (a&e, a&i, a&o, a&u, e&i, e&o, e&u. i&o, i&u, o&u) 9 questions per page, two unique worksheets for each vowel pair worked on. (22 worksheets with prompt at the top, 22 identical worksheets without prompt)
o Three Vowel Worksheets (a,e&i, a,e&o, a,e&u, e,i&o, e,i&u, i,o&u) 9 questions per page, two unique worksheets for each vowel trio worked on. (12 worksheets with prompt at the top, 12 identical worksheets without prompt)
o Four Vowel Worksheets (a,e,i&o , a,e,i&u , a,e,o&u , e,I,o&u) 16 questions per page, three unique worksheets for each vowel foursome worked on. (12 worksheets with prompt at the top, 12 identical worksheets without prompt)
o Five Vowel Worksheets (a,e,i,o&u) 25 questions per page, five unique worksheets (5 with prompt at the top, 5 identical worksheets without prompt)
All worksheets have the option of color or black and white. (So technically, you have 244 worksheets, but 61 unique worksheets) For my students, I printed a couple sets of worksheets on cardstock, laminated them, and had them use dry erase markers. This saved paper and allowed for more practice.
