Product Description
This engaging lecture, activity and review game reviews the Oath of Office, qualifications, terms, pay & benefits, and succession. It also reviews and gives examples of the different roles of the President; Chief of State, Chief Executive, Chief Administrator, Chief Diplomat, Commander in Chief, Chief Legislator, Chief of Party and Chief Citizen. Students will take notes on the creative lecture notes template. The lecture includes pictures, charts and video clips. It also includes a fun “President’s Rap” music video.

After the lecture, students assess their knowledge by working with a group and matching roles of the President with specific actions by the President. A power point review game is also included if students need more review.

 Standard: CA 12.4.4: Discuss Article II of the Constitution as it relates to the executive branch, including eligibility for office and length of term, election to and removal from office, the oath of office, and the enumerated executive powers.
 Objective: Students will be able to analyze the roles of the President by matching the roles of the President with the actions by the President.
